The San Joaquin Valley is one of the most agriculturally productive regions in the world.  Fresno County alone has more agriculture production than 24 of the other 50 states levels of production.  California, especially the San Joaquin Valley, is the nationwide leader in producing specialty crops such as grapes, almonds, tree fruit, citrus and dairy.  I am dedicated to representing the interests of the San Joaquin Valley through agriculture policy moving through Congress, and to passing legislation that benefits our farmers and farming communities, while maintaining my commitment to fiscal responsibility.
